Trouble started when Purity allegedly turned down Eno’s marriage request
upon discovering that he (Eno) was already married with a child. It was also
gathered that Eno asked for a refund of N1.5 million he claimed to have
spent on his lover during their five year relationship.
Purity’s family were said to have pleaded with the angry lover to wait till next Tuesday for the money to be paid. Eno allegedly turned up on 28th October at the victim’s family compound and shot her in the chest with his service pistol.
A source said, “He had told the family of Purity to refund the money he spent on her but they begged him to wait till next Tuesday. He calculated and pegged the money at 1.5million naira which they agreed to pay. But he came to the girl’s house yesterday with a service pistol and shot her straight on the chest.”
