Osun NSCDC Nabs Suspected Motorcycle Thief

Osun state command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, on Monday
said it has apprehended one Ojo Matthew, 32, for allegedly stealing a
motorcycle in Ede town.
The NSCDC Commandant, Emmanuel Ocheja, in a statement signed by the state Corps Media Officer, Atanda Olabisi, said, “The suspect was caught stealing the motorcycle by some residents, who alerted operatives in the command, which led to his eventual arrest.”
The statement further stated that the suspect under interrogation said he did not want to steal the motorcycle, but “wanted to siphon fuel from it.”
“The commandant has authorized that thorough investigation be carried out on the case. The corps is committed to safeguarding the lives and property of the citizens,”the statement added.
