Kaduna 2023: Isa Ashiru Emerges PDP Guber Candidate, Shehu Sani Is Last Of All Contestants

Former member of the House of Representatives and the Kaduna governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party ( PDP) in 2019, Rt.Hon.Isa Ashiru Kudan has again, clinched the ticket of the PDP to contest the governorship election in Kaduna State come 2023.

Ashiru was declared the winner of the PDP gubernatorial primaries held on Wednesday night at the Indoor Sports Hall of the Ahmadu Bello Stadium in Kaduna by the returning officer, Chief Raymond Dabo, a former PDP chairman in Plateau State, who announced that he polled 414 votes.

The other contenders were Sani Sidi, a former boss at NEMS who polled 260 votes; Ramalan Yero former Kaduna Governor, scored 28 votes, Barrister Sani Abbas got 15 votes, Haruna Sa’id Kajuru, 11 votes and Senator Shehu Sani polled 2 votes
