Do you know who Walt Disney is? He was an American animator, film producer and entrepreneur. A pioneer of the American animation industry, he introduced several developments in the production of cartoons.

He holds the record for most Academy Awards earned and nominations by an individual, having won 22 Oscars from 59 nominations. He was presented with two Golden Globe Special Achievement Awards and an Emmy Award, among other honors. Several of his films are included in the National Film Registry by the Library of Congress. Disney was the first person to be nominated for Academy Awards in six different categories.

Disney developed popular character Mickey Mouse, Cinderella , Mary Poppins. He is the owner and creator of Disneyland, Disney World.

This write-up is not about Disney's biography, why some of these his achievements are mentioned here is very simple- for you to understand, that a man who started what we call "animation" today, as far back as in the 192.. something, and also won 22 oscars is someone who must be very knowledgeable, has lots of wisdom, and knows whatever he talks about.

This same said said, anything, everything, whatever that your have the ability to dream of can come true, but this is only if you have the courage to pursue them.

Try to imagine the number of thinking, the kind of dreams, that Disney must have had in his life time to have been the first to bring up animation movies. I'm talking about a time when even motion films where real human beings are shot with motion cameras was just evolving, but someone could dream and come up with animations. That is a lot of dream, backed up with courage and determination.

This same man is telling you that anything you can dream of, and you have the courage to pursue it, you can achieve it!

What is that thing that you have dreams that you can do, but due to one reasons or the other you feel that you cannot, because it appears too big, too great to be possibly achieved, ll you need is courage to pursue it and it is surely achievable.

I have had a lot of young guys who have talents to sing, many of them gave up almost before starting just because they don't have the courage to go on, but I also know of a few who never gave up, some of them are producers today, even though started as singers, some have their own studios now, and some are even record label owners today, because of their courage to keep up their dreams.

Those who gave up, I don't even hear about them anymore, because they got introduced to me because of their singing talents, but since they are no longer there, I may not get to hear about again because I don't know what they do now.

Many of them still in music, they still get in touch with me from time to time, when something new comes up in their line of business that they feel I needed to know. Some are doing quite well!

But if you give up on your dream, you may never realize that you can do it, and you keep seeing all those that did it as magicians or supernatural. No- all what they did was having the courage to pursue their dreams.

Walt Disney might have been the pioneer in the animation industry, but it is possible that while he was getting the ideas, some other people who were also getting ideas of animation never had the courage to pursue it.

Do you know how silly it would sound as far back as 1928 to have an animation idea? Some people who hears of the idea would even mock you, they will kill the idea before it is even birthed.

So it takes a lot of courage to be able to pursue a dream, especially a huge dream.

My encouragement for you today is that you take care of that your dream, nurture it, pursue it and you will achieve it. Take this Disney's quote of today as a guide for you; “All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them.” – Walt Disney
