Come Let Us Return To The Lord

Our God is always a willing God to forgive us each time we go astray. He doesn’t want any of us to die in our sins, because anyone who dies in sin will go to eternal damnation. That will not be our portion in Jesus name, amen.

“Come; let us return to the Lord. He has torn us to pieces; now He will heal us. He has injured us, now He will bandage our wounds. In just a short time He will restore us, so that we may live in His presence. Oh, that we might know the Lord! Let us press on to know Him. He will respond to us as surely as the arrival of dawn or the coming of rains in early spring.” Hosea 6: 1-3

This is call for total repentance; let’s confess our sins as individual and as a nation, God is asking today; “O Israel and Judah (Nigeria, Nigerians, people of the world), what should I do with you?” asks the Lord. “For your love vanishes like the morning mist and disappears like dew in the sunlight.” Hosea 6: 4

Even in the New Testament, John 3: 16 says, “For God so love the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him will not perish but have everlasting life”

Many people have misinterpreted that verse of the bible that is why they now do things anyhow. You cannot believe in Jesus when you fail to do the things Jesus ask you to do. Jesus said He did not come to this world to destroy the Old Testament and the prophets, why are many people thinking they can go scot-free when the commit all the sins the prophets were sent to them not to commit?
“I sent my prophets to cut you pieces- to slaughter you with my words, with judgments as inescapable as light. I want you to show love, not offer sacrifices. I want you to know me more than I want burnt offerings. But like Adam, you broke my covenant and betrayed my trust” Hosea 6:5-7

You keep relying on what your priests and pastors tell you instead of checking the word of God to know what God is saying. You have become very comfortable with your sins instead of repenting of your sin.

Even the priests are liars and cheats, all what they are thinking of his their pockets just like the sons of Eli, “Priests form bands of robbers, waiting in ambush for their victims. They murder travelers along the road to Shechem and practice every kind of sin” Hosea 6: 9

Very true, even here in Nigeria, all they wait for is the offerings that members of their churches will bring; they don’t care about the truth. They don’t care what the word of God says, they only search for the blessings in the word of God and forget to warn the people that those blessings are only meant for those who obey the Lord Almighty.

“Yes, I have seen something horrible in Ephraim and Israel (In this present world) my people ae defiled by prostituting themselves with other gods!”

This is the reason for the many troubles in the land; this is why people are dying everywhere, every day.

Let’s us seek the face of the Lord now before it is too late. I pray that God gives us the heart to understand him and do His will always.
