Omay Lay Removes Burna Boy From Album Following Shoot At Night Club

Omah Lay has said he will be removing Grammy Award-winning singer Burna Boy from his soon to be released debut album Boy Alone following his involvement in a shooting at a Lagos night club.

In a question and answer session on Instagram, Omah Lay affirmed this.

A fan had asked if Burna Boy is still featured in the album.

“Is Burna Boy on da album?” the fan asked.

“E dey but I go remove am,” Omah Lay replied.

The album is set to drop on June 24, 2022.

Recall the Lagos State Police Commissioner’s Special Squad detained five policemen attached to Burna Boy for attempted murder after they shot two clubbers Lawrence Irebami, the husband of a woman Burna Boy allegedly made s3xual advances to and another identified simply as Tolu, at Club Cubana in Lagos on Wednesday.

Burna Boy has also been invited by the police for questioning.
