Police Arrest Four Fake Soldiers In Lagos

The Lagos State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of four persons impersonating as soldiers in the Iju area of the state.
The Punch gathered that policemen led by the Divisional Police Officer, Iju Division, CSP Gbenga Stephen, were on patrol around 1am when the suspects’ vehicle was accosted.
During interrogation, Punch correspondent gathered that the suspects, who were dressed in military attires, gave no meaningful explanation as to where they were serving and going to.
It was learnt that the suspects including Samuel Abel, 28; Victor ljeemai, 35; Lukman Salabiu, 43, and Oyinyechi Macus, 30, were taken into custody.
The state Police Public Relations Officer, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, in a tweet on Sunday, said the suspects had been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department, Panti, Yaba, for discreet investigation.
