40-Year-Old Ibadan Man Pushes Creditor To Death

A 40-year-old herb seller has been arrested for allegedly killing a
septuagenarian, Mr Rufus Olayinwola, his creditor.
The suspect,
simply identified as William confessed that he got into an argument with the
deceased who loaned him money and pushed him to his death..

Adewale Osifeso, the command’s Public Relations Officer (PPRO), while parading
the suspects on Monday at the Command’s headquarters in Eleyele, Ibadan, said
that the suspect also stole the vehicle used as collateral for the loan after
killing the deceased.

The suspect said: “This is the sixth vehicle I
used as loan collateral with the man who ended up selling it when I was unable
to pay the loan and the balance was given to me.
“I did not want to
lose this last vehicle and I approached him to return part of the money he
loaned to me, but the man refused to collect the money.
“This
resulted in an argument between me and the man and I pushed him to the wall
which led to his death and I took the car away.”

The Lexus 300 SUV
and Pepper spray was found in the suspect’s possession.
