El-Rufai’s Tweet About OBI-dients Reported To Twitter

Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai’s tweet mocking Obi-dients has been reported to twitter.

The Governor in an update revealed that supporters of the presidential candidate of Labour Party, Peter Obi, has reported his tweet to Twitter.

Recall El-Rufai appeared to mock Mr Obi’s supporters after one of them named Abdullahi Zarma on Twitter called for two million people to join the Kaduna rally for Obi.

El-Rufai reacted with laughing emojis, adding that he hopes Obi gets 200 people to join the rally.

His statement stirred controversy on social media, with many supporters of Obi attacking his personality.

In an update, he revealed his tweet was reported to twitter, and then further went on to mock Obi-dients when twitter said the tweet was not offensive.

According to the private message sent by the microblogging site, the content was not subject to removal under Twitter rules.

El-Rufai wrote;

“The desperation of so-called ‘Obidients’ knows no bounds….they insult everyone they disagree with, but cannot accept that some find them disagreeable & have opinions too!

“One of them in Germany found my tweet too hot to handle. @Twitter responded below. I STILL DEY LAFF!”.
