God's Promise of Restoration
Category: City Pastor's Teachings
God’s promise of restoration for us applies to everyone who has truly repented
of their sins and has accepted Jesus as their Lord and savior.
The word of God says, the Lord will guide us jealously and He will send us
grains and new wine and olive oil enough to satisfy our needs. Praise the
Lord!
You don’t need any rituals; you don’t need any witchcraft to achieve this, all
you need is the word of God.

“Then the Lord will pity His people and jealously guard the honor of his land.
The Lord will reply, “Look! I am sending you grain and new wine and olive oil,
enough to satisfy your needs. You will no longer be an object of mockery among
the surrounding nations” Joel 2: 18-19
You have probably known peace before, probably you use to live very
comfortably, maybe you were even very rich, but due to your sinful lifestyle
you lost it all. Now God is saying it is time for you to have everything that
you lost back.
He says, “I will drive away these armies (diseases,
crises, war, famine, hunger) from the north. I will send them into the parched
waste lands. Those in the front will be driven into the Dead Sea, and those at
the rear into the Mediterranean. The stench of their rotting bodies will rise
over the land: surely, the Lord has done great things! “Joel 2: 20
You have a surety when you have Jesus as your Lord and savior,
it’s just like a businessman that needs a loan from a bank that requires of
him to bring a surety, when you have the surety you get the loan but if you
don’t, the loan is not processed. That is the duty of Jesus Christ; He stands
in as a surety for us in times of crises, trials and tribulations.
Praise God! The word of God says, “Don’t be afraid, my people. Be glad now and
rejoice, for the Lord has done great things. Don’t be afraid, you animals of
the field for the wilderness pastures will soon be green. The trees will again
be filled with fruit; fig trees and grapevines will be loaded down once more”
Joel 2: 21-22
So you don’t have a cause for alarm! Because God will restore you back to your
original state. His original plan for us is to be without lack, His original
plan for us is to be of good health all the time. His plan for us is to
prosper in all the things that we do. Praise God!
“Rejoice, you
people of Jerusalem! Rejoice in the Lord your God! For the rain He sends
demonstrates His faithfulness. Once more the autumn rains will come, as well
as the rains of the spring. The threshing floors will again be filled high
with grain, and the presses will overflow with new wine and olive oil” Joel 2:
23-24
All these are for you because you have truly repented and you are now serving
the Lord in truth and in spirit, not hypocritical Christianity, not going to
church because you have to fulfill a religious obligation but serving the Lord
Almighty in truth!
“The Lord says, “I will give you back what you lost to the swarming locusts,
the hopping locusts, the stripping locusts, and the cutting locusts. It was I
who sent this great destroying army against you” Joel 2: 25
So it
is not any witch from your village that is doing you, it is not your neighbor
that is doing anything to you. It is your sin; God is punishing you for your
sins. But now that you have repented of those sins, He has forgiven you and He
will restore back to you, your health, and everything that you have lost; your
job, your business, and your relevance in life, amen.
“Once again you will have all the food you want, and you will praise the Lord
your God, who does these miracles for you. Never again will my people be
disgraced. Then you will know that I am among my people Israel (Those who have
accepted Jesus as Lord), that I am the Lord your God, and there is no other.
Never again will my people be disgraced” Joel 2: 26-27
Praise the Lord! I pray that as you read this message that the Lord Almighty
will give you the heart to genuinely repent so that He can restore back to you
all the things He permitted the devourer to take away from you because of your
sins.
