Evangelist Naomi Silekunola, the estranged wife of Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, who announced her separation from the king in 2021 has hinted on been bullied, and pointed fingers at the police.
The Queen who is mother to the king’s son, hinted she was at the assistant
commissioner of police office , Zone 17 in Akure and all did not go well.

She informed the public via her Instagram page that she is been bullied and
what happened at the police office shows women have been failed again.
She promised to give more updates. Apparently as they allegedly
pressure her, she intends to speak out.
Expressing her disgust in
an Instagram page, Olori Naomi wrote;
“No woman deserves to be
bullied. Walking away from abuse should not take away your fundamental human
rights and dignity as a woman. What just happened with the assistant
Commissioner of police at the AIG’S office (Zone 17) in Akure is a pointer to
the fact that the system has failed womanhood again. Does it mean that walking
away from a relationship mean you should commit suicide? More updates coming.”

Reacting in the comment section of the post, her younger sister, Simi said no
woman deserves 1% of what the Queen went through and is going through.
She wrote, “No woman deserves 1% of what you went through, still
going through, you have really tried and enough is enough!!! It’s about time
the sleeping dog wakes.”
Replying Simi’s comment, the Queen said;
“It will be a rude awakening. You know when I’m pushed I will rather die…thank
you all for standing by me through this difficult period. They don’t know
what’s going on but God will be faithful.”

Naomi announced her separation from the Ooni of Ife on December 23, 2021
and has since gone back to full-time ministry.
