Arrested Millionaire Kidnapper 'Lyon' Was An Ex Staff of Sterling Bank, Kidnapped Many Customers of Bank

John Lyon, a millionaire kidnapper based in Abuja, terrorizing Bayelsa State
who was arrested by men of the Nigeria Police Force is said to be an ex-staff
of Sterling Bank, allegedly dismissed from the bank for cash suppression.
Lyon
aka Kpaikpai, was a regular face in Abuja social circles and well known in
Yenagoa, Bayelsa State for his lavish lifestyle in Clubs and bars before his
arrest.
He was born on December 22, 1986, and on his Facebook profile, he claimed to
be an ex-staff of Sterling Bank and allegedly cover up his nefarious
underworld activities with his business name Lyon Interior hub.
Among others, he claimed to be a graduate of the University of Calabar and was
recently involved in the kidnap of one Danjuma, a banker where he and his gang
reportedly raked about N50 million and have confessed to committing the
crime.
A security source who did not want his name mentioned
revealed that the alleged Kidnapper was a former staff of Sterling Bank in
Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.
The Source also revealed his real name has Ewa Ikechukwu John’. Alleging
that many of his victims were big customers in the Bank and other
businessmen.
Some of his recent victims according to the source,
are top management staff of the Amarata branch of Sterling bank in Yenagoa,
Bayelsa State, were the suspect previously worked as a cleaner before he was
sacked for alleged cash suppression.
The suspect had allegedly
collected ransoms running into hundreds of Millions from his victims who are
top management staff of Sterling Bank in Yenagoa.
Over N70Million
was said to have been found in his personal bank account after his
arrest.
