Fraudsters Producing Fake Dollars In Abuja Busted

Nigerians producing fake dollars in Abuja have been busted.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC has apprehended five people for alleged currency counterfeiting. 

EFCC Head of Media, Wilson Uwujaren, announced their arrest in a statement yesterday.

The suspects were caught with bundles of United States currency totaling $113,400.

They are Sule Sani, Abba Sulaiman, Abraham Amengwa James, Haruna Nahum Rabiu and Samson Koadam Paul.

The syndicate was busted at Wuse Zone 4, Abuja, following actionable intelligence the commission received.

“They will be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded,” Uwujaren noted.
