‘Surgeon’ Struggles To Remove Live Snake From Woman’s Ear In Viral Video (Photos)
Shocking footage captured the alleged moment that a “surgeon”
tried to remove a live snake that infiltrated a woman’s ear.
Video
of the herpetological surgery has racked up more than 125,000 views as viewers
speculate whether or not the squirm-inducing footage is authentic.
“The snake has gone in the ear,” reads the caption to the bizarre
Facebook clip, which was posted Sept. 1 by an India-based social media star
named Chandan Singh to his 20,126 followers.
However, it’s unclear
where, when or how this unfortunate event transpired, local outlet the
Economic Times reported.
In the nearly four-minute clip, an alleged medical practitioner can be
seen using tweezers in a desperate attempt to extract a black and yellow
serpent that’s peeking its head out from a female patient’s ear.
Unfortunately, despite the Swiss Army-knife’s worth of tools from
forceps to Q-tips, he fails to wrestle the reptile from its unorthodox
berth.
The now-viral clip ends without revealing whether or not the
surgery was successful, leaving viewers shocked and appalled.
“He looks like a bogus doctor,” scoffed one unconvinced Facebook
commenter. “That’s why he’s pulling off so many tricks.”
“Instead
of a doctor, a snake charmer would have extracted the snake,” quipped another.
However, some viewers thought the clip was fake with one calling
it “100% false” while another wondered how it managed to fit the rest of its
body in her ear canal. One skeptic thought it odd that the snake was poking
out headfirst — as this would mean that it crawled in her ear and then turned
around in such a confined space.
