Events In PDP In Few Days Might Get Messier – Fayose
Category: Nigeria News
Former Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose has warned that events in
his party, PDP, might get messier in a matter of days or weeks.
The politician who has been quiet over the crisis PDP has been
facing, said it was time to speak up.
According to him, if the
crisis in the party are not resolved immediately, it might get messier.
Lots had been happening in the party, as most of the party leaders
are at loggerheads.
The Wike’s camp have been insisting that for peace to reign the party
chairman, Ayu must resign, while others including the party’s presidential
candidate, Atiku Abubakar is supporting the chairman, saying he is capable of
leading them all.
The party seemed divided both at national and some state levels.
Governor Wike had weeks back, endorsed APC’s Sanwo-Olu, against PDP’s Jandor.
A thing that hasn’t gone well with party leaders.
His camp are
also not supporting Atiku for President.
”I see more serious
turbulence for PDP more than ever before. I have been silent all this while
hoping that things will get better. I advise we do more than we are doing now
to resolve this crisis as events in days/weeks ahead may likely get messier. I
pray this advice is not ignored” Fayose tweeted.
