Abducted Edo Train Passengers All Freed – NRC

The Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC) has confirmed all abducted passengers at the Chief Tom Ikimi Railway Station Ekehen, in Igueben, Edo State have been released.

In a statement by the NRC’s Deputy Director of Public Relations Mahmood Yakub, the Corporation stated that all the affected persons have been released to their families.

The statement stated that none of the victims was hurt or injured during their period of captivity and release.

The NRC Board and Management also appreciated the role, patience and cooperation of the families of the victims and appreciated the roles played by the security agencies, State Government and those who contributed to the release of the victims.
