Ugandan Military Tells Health Workers Not To Treat Homos3xuals Wearing Pampers
Category: Africa News
The Ugandan government has been clear on its position and opinion
when it comes to the LGBTQ community.
During the handing over of
health facilities constructed by Uganda People’s Defence Forces (UPDF), Deputy
Commander Land Forces Maj Gen Francis Takirwa called on medics to shun
treating members of the queer community.

Tarikwa stated that members of the community had made an informed decision,
adding that it was unacceptable. “Don’t use our health facilities to treat
homos3xuals, someone comes with pampers leaking and wants treatment because he
made a decision as if he didn’t have brains. No. No. This is too much and
unacceptable,” Maj Gen Takirwa said.
The military chief added that
such practices are unacceptable and should not be accepted in the community.
