Repentance is the Only Way You Can Saved

I have come across some Christians who think it doesn’t matter whatever they do as long as they go to church and they are Christians.
I have particularly had an encounter with a girl who told me to stop preaching Prophet Hosea’s message to prostitutes that the New Testament has freed everyone from sin.
But I tell you the truth, except if you are truly repentant you do not have the promises of God.
John went on, “Even now the ax of God’s judgment is poised, ready to sever the roots of the trees, every tree that does not produce good fruit will be chopped down and thrown into the fire” Matthew 3:10 (NLT)
Therefore what can make you a true child of God is by the fruits you produce. You must produce good fruits for you to be addressed as a child of God. Or else you are not qualified to be called one.
What are the good fruits you need to produce? - Patience, faithfulness, humility, kindness, long-suffering, serving God always, giving to the poor and needy and honesty at all time.
I pray that from today God will give you the right seed so that you will start producing the right fruits in Jesus name, amen.

In Matthew Chapter Three verses Seven to Nine, John while baptizing the newly converts saw some Pharisees and addressed them thus:
“You brood of snakes!’ he exclaimed, “Who warned you to flee God’s coming wrath? Prove by the way you live that you have repented of your sins and turned to God. Don’t just say to each other, ‘We’re safe, for we are descendants of Abraham.’ That means nothing, for I tell you, God can create children of Abraham from these very stones.” (NLT)
So God is not in need of people to call His children, if you are not doing His will, He will raise stones to praise Him.
