Stop False Doctrines!

Many times I have said again and again that people make mistake of thinking that because Jesus Christ came and died on the cross of Calvary then Christians are save and so a Christian girl can prostitute or a Christian man can embezzle money and it won’t be sin.

Very funny, isn’t it? I have had arguments with prostitutes who believe that the preaching and warnings of Prophet Hosea is for the people of that time.

So when they take up prostituting as a profession, it is okay as long as they go to church and pay their tithes.

Listen to what Jesus said here in Matthew 5:17-20, “Don’t misunderstand why I have come. I did not come to abolish the Law of Moses or the writings of the prophets. No, I came to accomplish their purpose. I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not even the smallest detail of God’s law will disappear until its purpose is achieved. So if you ignore the least commandment and teach others to do the same, you will be called the least in the kingdom of Heaven. But anyone who obeys God’s laws and teaches them will be called great in the kingdom of heaven”.

“But I warn you- unless your righteousness is better than the righteousness of the teachers of religious law and the Pharisees, you will never enter the kingdom of Heaven!”

 
Therefore it is hypocrisy to believe that the laws of the prophets that condemn some bad things are not meant for Christians of today. But you believe that the prophesies of the same old prophets concerning wealth, health and prosperity are for you because you are of Abraham’s lineage.

Jesus said he did not come to abolish the laws of the prophets but that he came to accomplish it.

Hmm! So if you have been hiding under the disguise of, “Jesus died for my sins” and you disobey all the laws of the prophets and think God will pat your back, you are making a deadly mistake!

Jesus said until the Heaven disappear not a single word from the words of God will go without being accomplished.

I urge you today that as you concentrate on studying the New Testament, reading and learning about the early Christians, that you should also study very well the Old Testament messages, particularly the messages from God to the people through the prophets.

As you read them, use an easy to read bible to get the true meaning of those messages.
