All Will Be Well With You If…
“Listen closely… and be careful to obey. Then all will go well with you, and you will have many children” (you will be fruitful). Deuteronomy 6:3
“The Lord is our God, the Lord alone. And you must love the LORD your God with all your heart, and your soul, and all your strength. And must commit yourselves wholeheartedly to His commandments, then it will all be well with you.
Keep the commandments of God close to your heart; the Bible says, “Tie them to your hands and wear them on your forehead as reminders” Deuteronomy 6:8
Imagine putting something on your head, like your glasses or cap, there’s no way you can forget you have it there. Just like you cannot forget you have your wristwatch on, at least you will remember when you want to sleep or have your bath. So keep the commandments of God in that manner that you will not forget and all will be well with you.
That is why you are told to wear the commandments of God on your wrist and your forehead, so you don’t forget them.
Deuteronomy 6:9 “Write them on your doorposts and on your gates”
*Type out and print the commandments of God, and place on your walls, the walls of your room beside your bed, in particular, where you can always see it and read. Always teach everyone that comes close to you about it, particularly those who ask questions about it!
And all will go well with you because Deuteronomy 6:10 says, “The Lord your God will soon bring you to your promised destiny.
Look at the promises in Deuteronomy 6:10-11, you will be rich, prosperous, happily married, successful, famous, fruitful, etc
Look at this:
It will not go well with you; “if you forget the Lord”, Deuteronomy 12. “You must fear the Lord your God and serve Him” Deuteronomy 6:13A
How do you do this?
1. By “not worshiping any other gods” Deuteronomy 6:14
Because God is a jealous God. His anger will flare up against you, and he will wipe you from he surface of the earth. I think this is the most serious and important commandments all of us must keep. It shows a great anger of God when you refuse to serve Him, obey His commandments.
For all to be well; “you must diligently obey the commands of the Lord your God- all the laws and decrees He has given you.” Deuteronomy 6:17
“Do what is right and good in the Lord’s sight, so all will go well with you, then you will occupy the good land that the LORD swore to give your ancestors” Deuteronomy 6:18
Deuteronomy 6:24-25 says, “The Lord our God commanded us to obey all these decrees and fear him so he can continue to bless us and preserve our lives, as he has done to this day. For we will be counted as righteous when we obey all the commands of the Lord our God has given us.
Righteous is from RIGHT. That means when we do the will of God, by obeying His commandments, then we are right, regardless of what people think of us! And all will be with us.
