Apprentice Steals Boss’ Two-Month-Old Baby

A two-month-old baby was at the weekend stolen from his mother at a school graduation ceremony in Ilorin, Kwara State.

It was gathered that the incident occurred at about 3pm on Saturday at the school’s premises in the metropolis.

The infant’s mother, Sekinah aka Iya Mujidat confirmed the development the Nations Correspondent.

She said the woman who went away with her child came to her shop two weeks ago to learn how to make snacks.

“The woman is tall, fair complexioned and she wore a purpose Ankara with a black headscarf.

“She is a Christian and came to me about two weeks ago that she wanted to learn how to make snacks. I accepted her but I don’t know any of her family members or where she stays, and I don’t even have her number.

“We went to the graduation of my son together. She offered to help me carry the baby while I accompanied my older son to collect his certificate.

“That was the last we saw of her. We have reported the case at ‘A’ Division police station in Surulere, Ilorin but have yet to hear from them,” she said.
