Forgiveness
Category: City Pastor's Teachings
People easily ask God for forgiveness when they sin but they often find it difficult to forgive those who have offended them.
Matthew 6:14-15 says, “If you forgive those who sin against you, your heavenly Father will forgive you. But if you refuse to forgive others, your Father will not forgive your sins”
This is important for you to note because before you go before God to pray, remember the praying pattern.
If you pray using this guideline as instructed by Christ, then you will always ask for forgiveness every time you pray.

Leviticus 5 Explained
You know why you ask for forgiveness every time you pray? As human, we make mistakes all the time. So there is need to ask God for forgiveness all the time. But remember Matthew 6: 14 says, if we do not forgive those who sin against us, God will not forgive us.
Therefore before you even ask God to forgive you, it is important that you first forgive that fellow who has offended you.
Praise God!
I pray that God will give you an understanding of His words, amen.
