The Curse on an Idol Worshiper that Brings Offering to the House of God

Many people think that they can serve God and also serve idols at the same time.

Some even believe that though it is a sin to serve idols but they don’t know the repercussions of serving idols and also bringing offerings to God at the same time.

Malachi 2:11-12 says, “Judah has been unfaithful and a detestable thing has been done in Israel and Jerusalem. The men of Judah have defiled the Lord’s beloved sanctuary by marrying women who worship idols. May the Lord cut off from the nation of Israel every last man who has done this and yet brings an offering to the Lord of Heaven’s Armies” (NLT)

Inasmuch as God despises the worship of idols, He hates it more when you worship idols and serve Him at the same time.

He says anyone that does that will be cut off from his own people. Meaning that such person(s) will be slave to himself.

Slavery is a shameful thing and does not bring dignity, therefore when you worship idols and serve God your life will be full of shame and lack of honor.

I encourage you to choose God today. He is the only that can save, He is the only that can free people.
