Peter Obi Mourns Mohbad, Calls For Probe
Labor Party’s Peter Obi has mourned late Nigerian singer, Mohbad, while also calling for probe into his death.
Obi, in a post on his X handle, said he, on behalf of his family, condoled with the mother and entire family of Mohbad “over his painful demise.”
The former Anambra State governor stated that he knew “how difficult it is for parents to lose a child, especially one with such a promising future as his.”
In his request, Obi urged the government and security agencies to probe the circumstances that led to Mohbad’s untimely death.
He charged them to leave no stone unturned in unraveling the everything behind his death.
With the demise of Aloba, Obi regretted that the nation had lost “a promising talent in our growing music and entertainment industry.”
He prayed God grant him eternal rest and grant his family and fans the fortitude to bear the loss.
All these calls for probe are eyeservice. Police cab fo their work without interference nah. These politicians in power and those still struggling to be in power have no limit of politicking. Every little development in the country must be politicised in narratives that favour their own selfish interests. So, we are not moved.
ReplyDeleteThe same thing with Sanwo-Olu and Obasa. They must stop politicising the menace of cultism. See the Deputy Governor of Lagos State. At least he visited the mother. Thar makes sense nah. Any other talk-talk, we are not interested, abeg.
That doesn't mean because we noted that the visit make sense, and then they should now all be visiting them like going to Mecca. We are more focused than that. Aguntan wa ko ję labę gęęsi wọn, isę ọwœ wa la nję. Bcos these politicians are too funny and annoying when they exhibit this 9ja syndrome of copycat.
We anti-cultist at least expected the government to start making policies that are implementatable to check celebrity cutism in Lagos State. You can't spend a whole 24 hours thinking of what to do if you are loaded with ideas. Start leading us and stop telling us you are a leader without taking the lead. And if you need ideas, call us, and we will give you for free what ideas that we believe will make a better impact in Lagos State.
Until then, you guys are just playing o. We don't give a damn! We have been combating the menace of cultism since 1997.
