Three Real Madrid players have been arrested, respected Spanish news website El Confidencial is reporting.
The media outlet says they were held after the mother of an underage teenage girl went to police to claim one of the trio filmed a s3x video of the youngster and sent it to others. They were arrested this morning.
The ongoing investigation is reportedly being led by Civil Guard officers in Gran Canaria because the complaint is said to have been lodged in Mogan in the south of the island on September 6.
The players, who have not been named, have been described as a youth player, a reserve team player and a “third team” player.
Although it did not provide any initial proof to back up its claim.
“Police sources say there could be several other players involved, including first team players.”
The men said to have been arrested are understood to be under police investigation on suspicion of a crime of “disclosure of confidential information.”
Confirming none of the detainees were from Real Madrid’s first team, the spokesman said: “Their mobiles have been seized and they have been freed for the time being.
The arrests occurred this morning. One of the detainees is a Real Madrid Castilla player and the other two are Real Madrid C players. Another player from Real Madrid C is being investigated.”
Real Madrid Castilla Football Club is Real Madrid’s reserve team. None of the detainees have been named.
