Are You Still Putting Your Hope in Mere Man?

If you are still putting your trust on that uncle or on that great connection you have or your money and skills, yes it may work for you now, but please while using those great resources, put your trust in God or else they will fail you someday!

Unless you believe in God, having only your trusts on him alone, and also making good use of those connections, skills and hard work, knowing that he is one who gives them to you, therefore you will not do anything that will displease him, you will not turn your heart from him, you will do all he has commanded.

By refusing to trust in God and trusting your connections with people, see what is likely to happen..

This is what the Lord says: "Cursed are those who put their trust in mere humans, who rely on human strength and turn their hearts away from the Lord.

"They are like stunted shrubs in the desert, with no hope for the future. They will live in the barren wilderness, in an uninhabited salty land" Jeremiah 17 5-6
