Founder and General Superintendent of the Deeper Life Bible Church at KM 42 on Lagos- Ibadan Expressway, Nigeria. Pastor Kumuyi was a university lecturer before he became the General Superintendent of Deeper Life Church.
He is the author of several books.
Deeper Life is one of the biggest churches in Nigeria with branches spread across most areas of Lagos and other parts of the country and outside Nigerian states.
The focus of the church is on "holiness and eternity" unlike what is common with other churches in the country where "prosperity" messages are more common trends.
Pastor Kumuyi is the publisher of the "Christian Women Mirror" a magazine for building godly women which was formerly published by his late wife Mummy Abiodun Kumuyi.
Kumuyi remarried in October 2010 in London, about 18 months after the death of his first wife.
In April 2013, Kumuyi was named as one of the "500 most powerful people on the planet" and Deeper Christian Life Ministry named as "the World's largest Megachurch" by Foreign Policy Magazine.
