Landlord Who Fled After Macheting Female Tenant & Husband For Refusing His Love Advances Is Arrested

A landlord who fled after macheting his female tenant and her husband for refusing his love advances has finally been arrested.

The men of the Rivers State Police Command finally succeeded in arresting over the weekend.

The landlord, Alabo, allegedly macheted his female tenant and her husband at Ekwulobia Street in Mile 3, Diobu, in Port Harcourt.

The incident occurred on May 15, 2022, when the landlord went berserk after the lady, Comfort Nwagadi, turned down his love advances, inflicting several machete cuts on her.

The landlord had also attacked her husband, who tried to rescue his wife and inflicted machete cuts on him as well.

The landlord had fled immediately after the attacks.

Alabo has now been arrested by the police, who had been trailing him since then.

Nwagadi confirmed the arrest of the suspect in a voice note sent to a Punch correspondent on Monday.

“That day, he also attacked my husband, who tried to intervene. Alabo cut him with the machete, too and ran away that Night. Since then, he has not been seen.

“But yesterday, the Azikiwe Police Station called that they have arrested him. Now that he has been arrested, all I want is justice,” she stated.
