Missing Ogun Banker Found in Niger

Mr. Olumide Openaike, a staff member of a Microfinance bank in Kemta Oloko, Abeokuta, who had been missing since Wednesday, January 17, has been located in Mokwa, Niger State.
On Thursday, Temitope, the wife of the banker who also works at a microfinance bank in Onikolobo, Abeokuta, shared the news with a Punch correspondent. She joyfully stated, "I am pleased to inform you that my husband has been located in a place called Mokwa in Niger State. He called me on Tuesday afternoon."
"He obtained a phone from a resident there because he mentioned that the individuals who kidnapped him took his phone. Subsequently, we advised him to file a report at the local police station; the police officer on duty confirmed that he was in Mokwa.

"Transportation funds were then arranged and sent to him. He reached Ibadan yesterday, Wednesday, where he spent the night. His family members are currently in Ibadan, and he is expected to return to Abeokuta today."
On Sunday, Temitope informed Punch that her husband, who left for work on Wednesday, January 17, did not come back home. The incident was also confirmed earlier in the week by SP Omolola Odutola, the spokesperson for the Ogun State Police Command.
