Woman Decapitated at Yola Hotel
The police have verified the murder of a woman in her early twenties within a hotel in Adamawa State.
The command's spokesperson, SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, affirmed the occurrence in a statement released today in Yola.
According to reports, the perpetrator, suspected to be a ritualist, accommodated the victim in a hotel. After engaging in sexual intercourse, he beheaded her. To conceal the crime, the assailant pretended to purchase toilet tissue outside the hotel premises, making off with the young lady's severed head.
Following an extended period of the ritualist's absence from the hotel, the receptionist and other staff entered his room, only to find the lifeless body of the young lady without her head in a pool of blood.
The Commissioner of Police for the state, CP Afolabi Babatola, has vehemently denounced the heinous act and directed an urgent investigation into the incident to apprehend the perpetrator.
Babatola urged hotel proprietors to promptly report individuals exhibiting questionable behavior to the police, emphasizing the commitment to apprehend the suspect.
